November 25, 2023 is Small Business Saturday — a national moment to promote shopping at small, local businesses such as Aina Clothing for the holidays. The ViBe Creative District is made up (almost exclusively) by small, locally-owned-and-operated businesses. Come support your neighbors and friends! This is the 8th Annual Small Business Saturday celebration in the District and it is the largest local celebration of participating small business in Hampton Roads with approximately 75 businesses located within 1.5 miles here in the district. The event will also include LIVE music by Big Juicy Entertainment honoring small local musicians as small businesses!

POP-UP VENDOR MARKETPLACE IN VIBE PARK & ON 18th STREET:

ViBe Park at the corner of 18th St and Cypress Avenue will serve as the starting point for the day. ViBe will be hosting a Small Business Saturday Welcome Table, shopsmall swag, and helping us organizing a massive scavenger hunt with a prize drawing at the end of the day. GRAND PRIZE CURRENTLY GROWING!!! NOW AT $1,300+!

43rd Annual Sandbridge Volunteer Rescue Squad Pig Pickin'

Get your tickets now and help support the Sandbridge Volunteer Rescue Squad, come on out and join Aina Clothing for a good time!
It’s the biggest party of the year in Sandbridge as well as the biggest fundraiser for the Sandbridge Volunteer Rescue Squad! This is the 43rd year of the highly-anticipated event, which draws hundreds of people from near and far.
This year, you can dance to the music of The Hotcakes Band, dine on delicious barbeque and sides from Beach Bully and check out the wares from dozens of vendors. Top it off with a beer truck and a wine tent and an ice cream truck to boot. Now that’s a party!
Thanks to the Sandbridge Volunteer Rescue Squad, your emergency ambulance ride is free. Virginia Beach has the largest volunteer-based EMS system in the country and they rely on donations to continue this free care. The Sandbridge Rescue Squad has been in operation since 1974 and responds to over 1,000 emergency calls a year.

Virginia Beach Surf Art Expo

Aina Clothing will be joining the VB Surf Art Expo, Memorial Day weekend (May 27-29) at the beautiful Virginia Beach, Virginia oceanfront. Aina will be there 3 days to celebrate surf and art with new eco-friendly hats and t-shirts for all your summer adventures. 80+ artists from up and down the East Coast. Also happening in conjunction is the Steel Pier Classic, the Coastal Edge Steel Pier Classic is a World Surf League sanctioned event. 

Lots going on all within a couple blocks. Hope to see you there!

 Join Aina Clothing and several other eco and ocean-themed businesses and artists for a Pop-Up Market at the Virginia Beach Surf & Rescue Museum on August 18th from 5:30 - 8:30 pm. Live music (free 7pm) next door at 24th Street Stage/Park by FIREFALL and Pablo Cruise. 

The Museum will be staying open late and offering guided tours also!

YNot WINDSday Kick-off Event

Aina is stoked to be part of the returning Ynot Wednesdays concert series happening at Virginia Beach’s Town Center this Wednesday, July 21st. This YNot WINDSday kick-off event will be focusing on sustainability!
Learn about the Mayor's Commission for Offshore Wind and Clean Energy. The City of Virginia Beach is on track to become a wind energy hub. Dominion Energy installed a pair of research turbines 27 miles offshore and plans to begin construction of 176 commercial turbines in 2024. The wind farm is expected to generate enough electricity for 650,000 homes in the state.
This event will feature an “Eco Market” with environmentally friendly products for sale from Aina Clothing and other vendors. The band Good Shot Judy will perform for this free outdoor concert at Town Center taking place from 5:00 – 9:00 pm on the Sandler Center Outdoor Plaza Wednesday, July 21st.
